Bike of the Week!
Here at The Electric Bike Company we understand that it can be difficult to know where to start when you're looking for the perfect electric bike for you. That's why, starting now we are excited to introduce the EBC Bike of the Week. Each week we will introduce you to one of our favourite bikes and the reasons why it may be your perfect electric bike.
Sleek and Subtle
The Cannondale Treadwell Neo EQ is one of those beautifully designed electric bikes that at first glance you wouldn't even identify as an electric bike. It's not until you are riding with one of three assistance modes that you really understand that your ride has definitely been electrified.
Weighing in at just over 17kg, the Treadwell Neo EQ is a delight to handle and lift if you're ever looking to fix it to your car rack, or even just carry it upstairs. For those of us who like to switch off the assistance and enjoy an analog ride every now and then, this bike will behave just like a traditional bike, while maintaining the high quality Cannondale is known for.
EQ-uipped for City Riding
The EQ in Treadwell Neo EQ is pointing you in the direction of the bikes features equipping it for practical city riding. The bike comes with front and rear fenders to help protect you and your bike from the elements of the real world. The bike is also equipped with front and rear lights wired in to your main battery so that you can maximise your safety in all conditions with comfort. Speaking of comfort you even get a suspension seatpost with the already comfortable saddle.
Let's Talk Specs
Behind the scenes you have the 250W Mahle ebikemotion X35 rear hub motor paired with a 250Wh battery sporting a range of up to 75km. With a 9-speed drive-train system and Tektro hydraulic disc brakes you can have a smooth, comfortable ride no matter how much assistance you want to use.
Who is this bike for?
